how about a list of confirmed/reported bugs we can check against before posting something 20 other ppl posted in 15 different threads already?

I second that Eagler, good idea.  Multiple reports would still happen but not NEARLY as often.

Good idea. Seems pointless to post your bugs with 15 new threads a minute going on.

I think the main issue would be the different systems that people are running.  That could be what is causing some of the bugs or that they are isolated to a specific driver/piece of hardware.

What would really clean it up would be for people with similar issues to post to the same thread, but that is asking a ****load too much I think.

it's a good idea; so, I'm bumping this thread back up to the top where Skuzzy can see it.

Maybe NOT a good idea, since the developers want to find out about "same problems on different platforms".

Part of the process is to identify whether a problem is universal or specific to a particular configuration.

hmm?

You'd create a new post with that bug number listing your differences from the reported issue

no offense...but, i think this idea would help more considering the amount of input that is coming in from all directions.

no word from Skuzzy, yet.
