The Historical Event - The Kadesh War
Year 1956. It is started in when Nazer - Egypt leader - nationalized the Suez channel and made the Tiran Channel unavailable for Israeli ships using Batteries that shoot any Israeli ship passing there. A lot of terrorist groups passed through Egyptian-Israeli border near Gaza and Rafah under Egyptian silent agreement. This situation become intolerable and coalition of Israel, French and Britain opened the operation known as Suez Campaign or Kadesh War. IAF had dropped paratroopers at Mitle - the passage that connected Egypt with Sinai, IDF start attacking Egypt positions is Gaza and start capturing Sinai. After few days British and France forces joined Israel in this operation and start bombing Egyptian air bases and dropped their paratroopers at the west of Suez channel at Port Said. IDF captured Sharm-Al-Ahsheikh and that opened Tiran Passage for Israeli Navy. Hole Sinai was captured by Israel. British and French forces captured Port Said and opened Suez channel for free passage. All terroristic groups in Gaza Strip were destroyed. After international pressure Israeli, French and British forces retreated but after this campaign Nazer had to avoid free passage in Tiran and Suez and stopped terrorizing Israeli towns and villages.
