VF-17 welcomes aboard ...
« on: October 18, 2003, 03:16:34 AM »
MEF4UD and Plotcham! Glad to have ya'll aboard!

I was informed, however, that I failed to get you to fill out the squadron questionaire. An obvious oversight on my part. It's merely a formality:

1: Do you like the F4U better than any other ding-danged aeroplane in Ace's High?

2: No really ... be honest.

3: Would you be willing to take a lie-detector test?

4: Would you be willing to send scotch, whiskey or beer?

5: How much?

6: Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?

7: Why are you looking at me like that?

8: Army-Navy game! Who do you root for?

9: What color facepaint do you wear at the game?

10: Do you take your shirt off?

11: What gender are you?

12: If you are my wingman .. can I trust you to make sure I make it back in one piece even if I'm blind drunk?

13: What's the airspeed velocity of a fully laden European swallow at seven thousand feet with the temperature right above freezing?

14: Are you legally an adult? Mentally? Emotionally? Do you like Adult movies? With sheep in them?

15: If you were a shoe ..... what kind of shoe would you be? Would you stink?

16: Big ships with long flat decks. Discuss.

17: How well do you follow orders? How about orders that involve possibly waking up in a compromising position in the morning?

18: -.-. .- -. /  -.-- --- ..- /  .-. . .- -.. /  -- --- .-. ... . /  -.-. --- -.. . ..--..

19: Donde esta casa de Pepe?

20: Give us one good reason not to accept you into our ranks. Answer yes or no.

Well Arlo decided to run this little questionairre on his own. If it was me I say..."So you like the Hawg? Good go get in one and lets fly!"

Hellcats are for guys who think that its the motion of the ocean and not the size of your boat that matters. :aok

- Sure.

2: No really ... be honest.
- ok I was lying.

3: Would you be willing to take a lie-detector test?
- yes (can I lie about this one as well?)

4: Would you be willing to send scotch, whiskey or beer?
- Isn't scotch and whiskey the same exept for the place of the distillery? Isn't beer a low alcohol whiskey?

5: How much?
- yes.

6: Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?
- I danced with a cow at a school party once.

7: Why are you looking at me like that?
- It's too hard for me to look at me like that.

8: Army-Navy game! Who do you root for?
- I don't grow roots.

9: What color facepaint do you wear at the game?
- Blue! like Willian Gibson Wallace - only I'm chocking on a dry biscuit.

10: Do you take your shirt off?
- If the audience demands, as they do frequently.

11: What gender are you?
- the hairy insensitive one.

12: If you are my wingman .. can I trust you to make sure I make it back in one piece even if I'm blind drunk?
- I'll make sure it's not a violent death so the body would be intact. It's better for the organ donations, exept for the drunk liver, can't use that one.

13: What's the airspeed velocity of a fully laden European swallow at seven thousand feet with the temperature right above freezing?
- yes, it's over modeled.

14: Are you legally an adult? Mentally? Emotionally? Do you like Adult movies? With sheep in them?
- mentaly, I'm a legal adult, but I still get all emotional about those sheep (as long as they are adult as well).

15: If you were a shoe ..... what kind of shoe would you be? Would you stink?
- I'd be a sandal - thin, covered in cow skin and stepped upon.

16: Big ships with long flat decks. Discuss.
- did I hear big chicks with long flat chest? sounds horrible.

17: How well do you follow orders? How about orders that involve possibly waking up in a compromising position in the morning?
- orders that involve possibly waking up in a compromising position in the morning?
my girlfriend give me those all the time.

18: -.-. .- -. /  -.-- --- ..- /  .-. . .- -.. /  -- --- .-. ... . /  -.-. --- -.. . ..--..
- is it a mineral or a vegetable?

19: Donde esta casa de Pepe?
- dont estimate my papa's castle?

20: Give us one good reason not to accept you into our ranks. Answer yes or no.
- yes?

pewww... I wasn't so nervous answering questions since that exam in particle physics.
Am I in?

You willing to help us out Jim? We need another psychiatrist to take over where the others stopped because they saw the error of their ways and just joined the "Wild Bunch".

Reschke and VF17

Actually, I have my hands full with the squad I am in. It is nice to know that there are others out there in the same if not worse shape then the pilots in the 68th.
