I really wish I could get IL-2:FB to install on my system. Its funny how it installed back in the spring with the same CDRW on a different system but now I get the eternal message to insert disk #2 even when its in there.

Try cleaning the disc real good. I'm having the same problem with disc on of CMBB and the only way I got it to load was cleaning it real good and retrying it a few times.

If the p51 is flown right will be unstoppable. The only thing thats bad flying the 51 is that on servers with no icons its hard to see cons against the terrain. This will keep the 51s a bit lower. The zip file was wonky, it'd extract everything into the 1.2beta folder and I had to manually move all the components over.

Just flew the P51 and Zeke for a few minutes, amazing

On to more sweetness.

Man, I feel bad for 109 pilots. P51 is uber! I was literally toying with 109K-4's (2v1) at 70-80% throttle. Playing with food isnt nice.

The KI will own the P39 with ease, its only constrained by black out from what I have seen.

BTW
first time I have spent some real time at 5000m plus in IL2 was flying the pony vs 109 and vis versa. The graphics for that game at high alt actually suck bad. Why the space blue noncense.
Flying at 15000 feet looks nothing at all like that.

The hit animations on the B17 look like they copied them right from gun camera film though..but the sky and ground look silly..
