Yeah... these same Iraqis that are dancing in the streets today will be throwing homemade bombs at our troops next week.

Sorry... but at this point I have a hard time believing that Hussein is relevant in any way to the current problem(s).

We're averaging 60 dead per month. Three months from now, I expect that there will be no difference.

Of course, I could be wrong and I sincerely hope I am.

Take for one instance, that these people, that have been terrorized by that man for over 20 years, think that the US may, bow under world pressure and leave, with him (Hussein) on the loose. You think that might just make a slight difference?  Well guess what, I believe, as do most others believe the same.

As you hope, and do I, our losses will stop.  The tell tale will be in a month, thats when the light will show its true color as to whether Sadaam is a guide to those that still fight, or a hope.  I think it is more a hope.

Straw man.
That picture was taken in Tikrit, I gather?
Hundreds, eh?
I'll see what massive celebrations tomorrow brings.  What I saw was a truck full of celebrating dudes being chased by photographers.  Man, I saw a bigger party in Munich when Germany won the European cup.
It's a good thing they got Saddam, but as the current US administration has been saying for some time, he's irrelevant to the current situation.

Guys,

You are missing the point. There are more people killed in New York City in a month then we take as casualities in a month oversea's that you actually hear about.

And this is relevant in what way?

We lose more people each year on the nation's highways than we did on September 11.
