Some test results

Well after a few months of not playing the game I finally have had some try the new beta out, offline.

Here are some things I've noticed.

Like other people have posted, 109 G10, rolls to the left - badly!
This is ridiculous, the p51d flys straight and smooth, even without autopilot. the fw 190 d9 rolls the right! But at least it flys straight with autopilot.

When I was testing the FW 190 d9 I lightly collided my left wing with a drone (it's right side, don't exactly know what section) and the damage I took was that my *right* aileron was taken out.

When I start the game, sitting in the tower I get about 54 FPS, after flying a bit and going back into the tower and just sitting there, my fps slowly climbs from about 30 to about 44-45 but never goes above that.

I have my graphic sliders set slightly more towards the detail side.

Running the game at 800x600 32bit with default settings (besides the slider setting I mentioned above)

Win XP Pro + sp1 and all hotfixes
AMD Athlon XP 2200
512MB PC 2700 Ram
Geforce 4 Ti 4400 driver version 6.13 from nvidia (yes I know I have to update these)

Overall Very nice so far

Keep up the good work!

Don't see a problem with either the P51's or the 190's torque myself. The reason the P51 and 190 fly straight forward/rigt is because of the trimming, heavier planes than the 109 thus less torque. The 109 doesn't have enough trim to stay straight in low speeds, it hardly has enough aileron authority to stay straight in low speed, hopefully something that HTC is looking into.

The Tower FPS sounds interesting, will go try it.
