i just got the vacation schedule from my buddie shlash621.  We will stay most of the time in fort myers.

not many ppl vacation in Fort Myers

not much there - maybe fishing, if not too cold

Though you're right, not as many vacation there as in other cities in Florida, but just try to drive to Captiva Beach on Sanibel from Fort Myers during the Christmas holiday.  You're looking at a good two hour or more drive to go 25 miles.

That's the truth!  For some reason, Fort Myers is a haven for German tourists all year round.  Just about everything is written in English, Spanish, and German.

I prefer going in the summer.  It's hot and humid as hell, but it's not like you notice when you're hanging out at the beach or pool.
