So I am trying out the compition while I am waiting for my paycheck so I can get back into the MA. Its pretty, flight model is a joke though. 100 plus planeset. Dont matter all you encounter are 5 airplanes. Niki for IJ, dora for germany, Temp for RAF,LA/ for Soviets,and last but not least p51d(n00bs) and F4u4c hogs for US. F4u4c they made less of thjose then they did the niki! Planes are cloaked unless you padlock them, serious, youknow hes there but you cant see him then, boom boom boom your dead. Ackstaring is prominent there. I laughed I had a 110 and there was a buncha lancs, so I went in and shot holyheck outta one, he hit me three times I am now 34% damaged. I rtb look at score screen. You hit dweeb 54 times for 4534 points of damage, dweeb hit you 13 times for 123 points. OK. So now heading to capped US field in Ju-88. BAM invisible to last second BnZ C-hogU4 kills me, damotw back again. this time get in line up dive,pull up and watch my 500kg bomb go into the middle of 3 ackstar b17s and a b25,incidentally landing on 1 b17. hes is in the middle of the crater. Then seriously he friggen shoots me, WTF?.  :rofl. The flight model is so funny to be laughable.

You gotta be talking about Fighter Ace 3.xxxxxxxxx! Geez they still have that frugged up % damage indicator. I used to laugh at how it would have been for some WW2 pilot to look down and see that his elevators were 27% damaged and his fuselage had taken 18% damage but overall he was only 22.5% overall damaged and he could still see through his invisible engine in the nose of his plane so he could follow (insert enemy aircraft) through a Split-S after that plane overshot him on the run. Never mind that with his autopadlock feature he could look through the bottom of the plane and still see where the enemy was in relation to his guns and could follow him for up to 5000 meters as well with the padlock feature. Especially if the bad guy was dead six and below him coming in to shoot.

Have to learn how to use padlock and cycle between nme and friendly a/c - since you can't move yr head position yr view out the cockpit is really bad - so you have to use padlock.
