Aircraft bouncing upon belly landings...
« on: January 15, 2004, 12:09:57 PM »
I've only noticed this once but I'll go back and try it again.  I'm curious as to if anyone else has had this happen.  While belly landing a Spit just to see and hear the new changes my plane kept bouncing and flipping even once I was at a full stop and then finally laid on its top.

There was no more forward movement at this time and it seemed as if the plane had landed on a trampoline.  It's not a big deal but it does take a little bit longer to get out of that plane during these type of landings.  Since the aircraft is still bouncing it won't let you go to the tower.
