New game aint working

since ive downloaded the patch, everytime i get to the choose arena screen, and begin loading terrain and such, itll cut off and say aceshigh has encountered problem send error report blah blahblah, i reinstalled the game, didnt work, even tried plain ole h2h, did the same thing

whats up with this crappy update i cant play my game anymore

dang skippy thats how i ask for help and if u dont know squat about tech then u need to post your junk somewhere else,

offline doesnt work either

Yes, I too am suffering the CTD event midway thru the load up process just at the point where the terrain begins to load.

Any ideas?

As it stands I am left scratching my head.

Did a full download after deleting the program an dstill the same results.


Sugestions are appreciated.

More information is needed here.  What type of video cards do you all have?

If you do not know, run DXDIAG (Start->Run->DXDIAG), then select the "Display" tab and get the exact name of the device from there (upper left), and also post the video driver version (upper righ) and date of the driver.

Well... here's a little hint for the future ya silly pup..... if you cant get what you want through rational thought and conversation, then maybe you aren't asking correctly. Trust me kid, if you have to ask for help like that then your communication skills are as lacking as your manners.

I fixed the problem.  I went into video setup and found that my settings were on 45 fps.  I set it to unlimited fps and it worked.

I'm having same problem as everyone else except I lock up when trying to go online.  I make sure NAV allows AH to connect then I wait....NOTHING but a counter to connect.  Here's my info Skuzzy.

also i dunno if this forum likes double post but i gotta keep this 1 seperate, crazie dude that called me a pup, man get that stick outtta yo bumhole cuz if u were paying for a pimp game that u wanted to play and u get a "upgrade" that causes it to do that
crazy close your game and make u restart thing i hate

and espc after u reload the game and it takes like forever to dl the thing again on this comp, got it all for 100 bucks but AH2 works pretty dang good on it, pretty good game price is probly just right cuz 20 bucks a month sounds like too much, and man a j stick definately adds to teh poonage that i create in that game

Are you still having the problem after installing the new patch for 2.05?  Your splash screen should say "Version 20.5 Patch 1" in the upper left corner.

It also would be worthwhile if you upgraded the video drivers for that chip (82845G).  The current version is 14.10.3 on Intel's WEB site.  You may already have it, as the version numbers for what Intel shows is not going to match the version number shown in DXDIAG.  The date of the drivers on the Intel page is 6/28/2005.
