Lately I've been seeing a cubic crapload of post from folks who whine about not being able to find 1vs1 fights. There are folks saying that all maps do is cater to the land grab.
Alot of the pilots whining about the lack of 1vs1 seem to have a "god" complex and just what to prove their ACM prowess in a 1vs1 setting. Well, if they're so good - why not a 2vs1 or a 3vs1.....?
That should be a challenge, shouldn't it? If you're such a good pilot - a 3v1 should be no problem. Maybe it'll help you get to the top of the mountain that you think you're standing on.
Look at the history.... in the Battle of Britain you'd have a flight of 4-8 hurricanes intercepting about 12 ju8ss/he111 that had 30 escort me109s. Talk about crappy odds...
Where were the orders of the airministry and luftwaffe that said "Only engange if you are in a 1vs1 or equal odds situation"?
They fought...didn't whine about the numbers..
might've got slaughtered.....might've taken a few enemys out before they went down.
Did they hang out above an enemy feild waiting to cherry-pick a plane taking off? Did they run / log off and wait till better odds?
nope...
They got in and mixed it up. no whining about odds...they did as a pilot should do - fought and died for his country. Some were lucky. They survived.
So, If you guys that whine about having to fly 50 miles for a decent 1v1 fight (honestly, I think it's looking for someone to bounce) You don't have to do it. Simply log out of MA and head to DA. (dueling arena, "Duel" = two; 1vs1)
But quit dragging it out on the boards pls, You're beating a dead horse.
