I thought it was OK.

I give it a B when both sides had bases on the island, D when they didnt.

C, nice setup but..........

I think RAF need at least one fast plane.
109g2/6 outperforms even Spit 9. So what can you do with Spit 5 or P40? I know there are historical reasons.... but you just can't catch nothing in these spits....

B

Some good action with good plane match-ups. Many Spits to be seen but you saw a few P-40's now and then. Don't think I ever saw a carrier plane the whole time though.

Map has alot of bugs in it, like no manned ack and the pain in the prettythang DD Fleets that do nothing but put up clouds of flak you could walk on but it is still enjoyable. They need to make Malta uncapturable.

Distances are a little long and there are some spots in the middle of Sicily where there are no airfields while the ones on the coast are practically end to end.

I hope they re-do this map for AH2.

Unbelievable as it may seem a spit whine has been recorded.

Guess I'd give it a solid "C".

Love having the 202 and P40, of course, and the 109s and 190s didn't bother much.  Presence of spit V or IX always detracts from a setup for me, but I think a lot of Allied types would have felt overpowered without it.

This map is a frame-rate killer for me.
