Was on the direct 6 of a Bf110. Lost the main fuel from 7.7mm MG round that apparently tore through the R2800 and somehow managed to get to the main fuel tank in the D30?
D30 seems to be a lot more fragile imho..was known to fly without cylanders.
Could anyone explain how you could lose the main fuel from that position? I mean....an R2800 is a large radial...hard to believe 7mm could penetrate that and get to the main fuel tank from that position?
