Joystick Incompatibility?
« on: May 31, 2004, 05:53:35 AM »
I have a Saitek Cyborg 3D USB stick.
In AH1 it works fine, but in AH2 I cant get my hat switch and twist rudder to work. I guess I must be missing something......any ideas?????

Have you tried copying your ah1 settings folder to ah2?

That's odd. I have the same stick, and did not have to make any alterations at all to play AH2. Have you created your own Cyborg profile? If not, you can copy mine down and try it. It is here. Put the file in your c:\program files\saitek\software folder. After you boot up, you see the little Cyborg icon in your system tray? Right click on it, and select Cyborg3 from the displayed list of profile choices. The tray icon should turn green. Using this profile, centre thumb button toggles combat trim, other thumb buttons do manual trim. left-shift + thumb buttons for flaps. I have programmed the other buttons as well. If the stick profile was not the problem, I'd be looking at what version of the Saitek drivers you have, DX, and things like that.
