they are more annoying than channel 1 was

Ya know... That was what I always said prior to chn 1 being taken away!!
If you didnt like it squelch it.
Now we have a more sanitized gaming expieriance.

If you think I meant that your a bigger fool than I thought. I hate the fact they turned off chn1. Its ridiculous. I really never had much to say about this game one way or the other, but this issue has pissed me off.

Doesn't work that way. the ".s" command broadcasts your salute universally no matter what channel is tuned/squelched. Now if it was coded to send the salute to the recipiant alone .......

When I suggested those who didn't want to see the salutes tried squelching channel 1 last night, I was told by those who tried it that it did work..... ?

As I said in the other thread .... I stand corrected. Squelching (not detuning) channel 1 will indeed eliminate the plethora of self-congratulatory masterbation.

channel 200 is not the same as open ch 1

takes all accountability & liability off HTC shoulders as it should be for its sometimes vulgar, too many times immature content

squelchable salutes already setup - squelch the ch or squelch the player <- very easy to do from roster now with right click

I could never understand why some thought channel one was their personal aol chatroom soapbox

from what i heard online they (the moderators) are ruling 200 with an iron fist. 1 hour squelch for very small yet derogatory comments. i just dont even bother tuning to it except to say hello to tatertot, or someone like that. then right back to squad radio number.

i really like the way it is working right now.

seems more "classy" and adult (not in a x rated, but mature good way).
