I was referring to its performance relative to contemporary Japanese fighters. The Japanese struggled with turbochargers throughout the war, and had few aircraft that were competitive at high alt (Dinah being a notable exception).

And for the US Navy...

A Privateer and Lockheed Ventura (PV-2 Harpoon) !  

US needs a few land based navy bombers too
