In AH1 while in a tank engine stopped...and near an NME tank that was advancing or engine running. The direction on the NME was discernable by swinging the Main turret until the sound was loudest and in both ears (HeadSet). Now the Sound of the engine or any other sounds for that matter are exactly the same volume whether looking directly into the direction of the sound source or 180Deg away from it. I asked some players online if they had the same problem. The ones that didn’t were using Surround Sound setups. Im sure many of us are using (Stereo Headsets) Please fix this so even a 2 speaker setup will hear sound source direction the way AH1 did. TY

Hmmm.....any ideas as to why it has on my machine?
I posed the question in the MA 2 times today.
4 or 5 reported the same findings that i have.
3 reported that they didn’t have trouble discerning sound source direction.
The guys that didn’t' notice a change in being able to distinguish direction of the GV sound source are running surround sound. The guys that reported the same findings that i have were using Headsets or 2 speaker system.
And as described above...Should it be that way?
Does AH2 use a 3D engine as opposed to AH1 using a 2D engine?
