Military Program
« on: July 23, 2004, 03:39:04 PM »
Im leaving Sunday morning for 2 weeks worth of training at Fort Drum. Fort Drum is by Watertown NY. Im gona be doing cross training between MP school and  tank school. Im in a military program for people under 18. Its goverment run, not some highschool wanabe group. Its Navy based.  Just like CAP is Airforce based. Im looking forward to it, last year I staffed a bootcamp up there, had fun yelln at kids, made a few of em cry, sadly the goverment is cutting back on all military bootcamps so its more like 2 weeks of dont hurt someones emotions. I learned better at my bootcamp when we had to do physical punishment. Anyway the program allows for instant promotions with signing up with certian services. I can sign up with the Navy as a E-3, or the Marines as a E-2. Ive been in the program for 4 years now and im a E-4 or a petty officer 3rd class. Its a great experience. If you have children between the ages of 14-18 its great for  those who look for a future in the military.

Blue.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.
