Saddam and Khomeini got weapons from western states

Nah... i think SLO is referring to the '69 CIA bloody coup which installed the Baath party into power. Reagan didn't help either giving Saddam some nasty WMD and a green light for genocide of his own people but then again that Ameeerika.
