Uhmmm.....is the Me109 polygon done or is there going to be a refinement latter on?

Seems to me that the water radiators under the wings are missing.  There is a pseudo like representation of them in the texturing wrapped around the polygon, but that doesn't look good to me.

Sorry to nitpick, but I just want to raise awareness that it is quite noticiable that those radiators aren't there.

Hans.

and has anyone noticed that the breech bulge on the cowl is modeled as a air scoop ?

it was just a bulge right?

you have the greatest sim i have run across so far and i dont mean to be nitpicky either.

Hans: I never even noticed the radiators were missing! After looking at the AH Bf109G10 and comparing with photos and 3-view pictures, I think the wing and canopy shapes need some modification as well.

-towd_: Huh? I can't see this, unless you're being fooled by the texture colour on top of the nose?

This version of the 109G doesnt have the distinctive double bulges for the feed chutes of the 13mm the way the g5 g6 and i believe the g14 did. It always had the later smooth bulges.
I am glad they chose the G-10 but I miss the bulges..

Yeah, and I'm sure that there were little bumps where the rivets are.  And there needs to be a rim around the windows.  And how about dust and muck flying around in the cockpit during negative G maneuvers?  And what about... And don't forget about... And smile through it all!

No, no, no - it goes this way...

SWOOSH:

I play simulations like this for their realistic representation of real life. If the air scoops are missing, then they need to be added.

Uh, one more thing... what about the leading edge slats? Are these going to be modeled (both function and form)? Are they already?

Muck in your eyes as you go negative G is also realism, but your point is taken.  (:  Some things are more easily modeled than others...

I am glad that they got the wings of the Spitfire to look right.  The Warbirds spit still has the P-47 look to them (straight leading edge with a curved trailing edge).

FYI I only do this because I once found a bug in Warbirds where ventral turrets would not fire their weapons and had been that way for several versions.  I posted it....it was fixed that very next version.  I now figure my voice IS heard and why not post some more?  You guys should too.

There is no harm in asking for something.  Will we get it?  Uh.....lemme get back to you on that.

SO!

Superfly...my favorite pro-wrassler.  Any chance we could sorta, mebbie, please get a couple of mods to the 109?

Hans.
