Operation Overlord Scores Double Count
« on: August 21, 2004, 01:22:44 AM »
The score board for Frame1 of Operation Overlord seems counted double. (http://www.webtreatz.com/tod/lognew.html)  Can someone correct this?

OK, sorted.  Thanks for pointing it out.   Not sure what happened; maybed APDrone was interrupted and accidentally ran the log parser twice.  Easy done.  :)

We had a long bomber run from East Church (A13) across the channel deep into France. Our target was the city near A43 and A43 itself.

Also we lost a lot to bombers early on. Even some of our "experienced" buff pilots had problems with drones. One fellow lost his drones “after” we dropped on target and were headed home. He was level flight and at 30 MAN. :( I took off careful as usual and lost one. Three others were unable to take off with their drones. I had several auger and reup in the first 5 minutes in an attempt to get our drones back, but to no avail.

68KO don’t count all those bomber losses in the first few minutes of the frame please. We lost some bombers to enemy 109’s over the English Channel and that was about it. Then we lost one or two more when they ran out of fuel (fuel tanks damaged). Over all our bomber losses were light. Maybe 6 bombers out of 33 or 36. Have not checked how many showed up yet.
