Calabasas, Ca (August 24th, 2004) – This week promises to quicken the pulses and tax the internet connections of Joint Ops fans the world over with the release of three key ‘must haves’ for the number one selling, record breaking, large scale FPS.The download bonanza starts with a new key update to the game that tackles several known issues and includes key optimizations for older systems. This update paves the way for the second release of the week – The Joint Ops mission editor.Codenamed N.I.L.E (NovaLogic Internal Level Editor) the mission editor will be released in beta format, allowing consumers to create new maps and missions from existing items and terrains. N.I.L.E will be updated with enhancements over the coming months, but in the mean time the initial beta release will allow gamers to test out the new mission editor and give NovaLogic valuable feedback. More information about N.I.L.E will be made available on its release. The final download of the week will be a brand new multiplayer map for Joint Ops, utilizing the Advance and Secure gametype. More information on this map will be available later this week.
