SSO Frame 3 AAR - Sept 26th 2004
« on: September 26, 2004, 03:34:10 PM »
Hello gents and ladies!

Thanks for another great SSO!  Third time's the charm - this time the axis were much more prepared with their planning!  We really had to work hard to stay alive and this time the enemy bombers managed to get to target almost unharrassed.

Great fighting Axis pilots, well done!

Here are my films from tonight:

Thanks to all participants, looking forward to the next SSO! :)

Ramzey, could you elaborate on the spirit. Why? What was going on? Was it not fun for Axis?

What should be done differently?

It was really hectic and fun for allies....  Just a pity that numbers were so low this time.

My XO refuse to fly sso before event, i sign up squad anyway to stay in touch  with my guys.
But som of them are tired to fly zeke. We flew all jap-us events as jpn since we fly AH
If you are convinced to design and not feel desire to fight you dont care..... If you dont care its not fun.
Its not fun to fly event with 30 people online
Its not fun when event is unbalanced (excep 3rd frame), but if you dont care by 2 frames , why you should care in 3rd?
Last frame we flew beucose of duty not beucose of fun.
Maybe we just lost interest, maybe its fall foult, dunno
Personly , i dont feel spirit anymore

Sorry to hear that :(

Naturally the 1st point is that it should be fun. Since there are so few squadrons in SSo, the ratio gets distorted very easily even within the normal +-2 pilots from original allocated numbers.

LLv34 registered as Allies since we usually always fly on the Axis side.. just to have some change. LLv32 came after us... Finns  like to fly together. Maybe that can also cause problems since we have grown together in the events and operate almost like a single bigger squadron. I suppose we should try to be on opposite sides sometimes...?

If we had known your wish to be Allied, we could have easily flown on Axis side.

Anyways, this was just the first SSO for a long time. Please, do not give up. hang with us. There will be more.. lets make them fun for all sides and all squadrons!!!
