Today... my teenage son introduced me to Primus.

I think he was disappointed that I liked it. :)

Isn't Primus the South Park house band?
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Small world. Went to the new Bully’s sports bar opening, and not only is it huge, you can actually breathe, and I didn’t hear any wigger hits of 2K+, just good stuff, including Primus, which brought up a good discussion. I was shocked to see this post concidering.

You’d really have to have lived in the Bay Area in the late 80's or very early 90’s to see them in clubs, and then maybe when they opened for Rush to understand them. Terrific live band, the drummer is excellent, and Les stomping a foot up and down to clever tunes doing that bass thing has to be seen in a small club setting. And they even took Geddy Lee out in the Bay and the boat broke down which is more info than you need. ( just rambling)

I still can’t take the CD’s but for a few select tunes, but live? Good stuff.

The DVD I got off Netflix mirrors what I just said. Check that out. You will like them more, but I guess like me, never really get way into them. Just piss off yer son even more when you enjoy them and actually laugh out loud.

Les has to be the most innovative bass player in the last 50 years or more.

PS about seeing them live, they are touring right now, passing through Milwaukee with a set list where they play the entire album ummm... CHT forgot which, i think Pork soda.
I don't know what to put here yet.
