Defense: Slowing the flow (strat thinking)

As some have noticed I'm starting to get more stick time in the MA.  One thing I see is alot of the newer folk hollering for help defending a base, and the inevitable 'ant train' of green and red dots to the base in question.
Also a few shouts on the readio to bust the hangers at the base the attack is coming from.  Wrong move.

Hit the fuel, ammo, and troops at the base launching the non-stop assault.  Not the hangers.  Hangers only stay down 15minutes.  Fuel, ammo, and barracks are down 30minutes unless the base is supplied.  Strip the base down to 25% fuel, no troops, no bombs/rockets.  That base isn't launching attacks for awhile.

Cave is right, even a light fighter can kill the barracks & prevent a capture.

Typical Jabo can kill fuel down to 25% easily in 3 passes. Hit them and they can't hit you.
