The father of the girl I'm visiting is the head of customs for his region. I've been hearing all sorts of stories regarding the way customs are handled in major port cities. Is this guy going to be on the level, or a little on the sketchy side? I'm not going to be spending much time with him, I don't think, but I've seen the way he and his wife live and I'm starting to think he's doing something above and beyond the technical specifications of his position.

Customs officers are usually extremely rich people in Russia, even on low positions. At least until they go to prison... I don't mean to offend him, but it's how the things

They can make millions on used cars import from Japan only...
