Oh, the poor Broonz. All those years of idiot Harry Sinden trying to recreate the Orr-Espo dynasty through aggressive and haphazzard trades. Hoping to once again get lucky. I grew up watching that team ... Orr, Espo, Derek, Cheesie, Hodge, Bucyk, Eddie J, Cashman, "Pie" McKenzie. Nothing else in hockey has come close. Bruins hockey used to be so much fun to watch then.
As for the Steelers, Cowher has always played not to lose, and played predictably, as long as I can remember. And the way he rips a QB or RB apart when they make a mistake, I guess some folks thrive on that. But you look at the way their playoff's always seem to end - it's usually the same way. Maybe it isn't the players. He's done a good job, but I don't see him bringing a team all the way.
This could be a pretty good SuperBowl. I expect the Eagles to hit Brady a lot more than the Colts or Steelers did. And McNabb won't throw INT's - he's too experienced. The Eagles are a pretty well balanced team. But with Charlie Weiss leaving the team at the end of the season, and Romeo Crennel probably gone too - you know those guys see this as their last shot at another championship in a long, long while. And with two weeks to prepare, I dunno, the Pats are gonna be mighty tough to beat.
