ok..so ..I have been hating thsi game cause my fps were crap..


well Over clocked my ride with help from 38MAW

so..i "had " a 1.6g...now its 1.9..

I had it up to 2.4...but i think i was running too hot ..it froze..so I backed off..


Im going to get a new /bettr heat sink..and 1 more case fan


I want to press it more as ,,,I have the cover off the side with a house fan on it rigth now..and i dont go over 50ceclius or so...


any other ideas ?

I will be getting th eadd.fan..heatsink and silver artic glue stuff today

If you care about anything installed or stored on the hard drives, make sure you have a good backup before you do any more overclocking.  There is a very real chance of hard drive corruption any time you push any system component past spec.

In addition to the cpu speed, you will probably want to separately find out how fast your memory will run.  If you have to slow down your memory to get a fast cpu overclock, it's possible to actually slow down your entire system.  So find a balance between speeding up your ram and your cpu.

we had to losen the timings to start with ,  we backed the cas latency off to 3 , even at the slower memory timings , it show a definent improvement in frames     38
