Officall, unoffical or regurall TA Jack-trainer?
Cool squad name & logo?
Mute & Eject rights?
Free account?

First you do the job without any of the perks for 6 months. Never lose your temper, never get irritated or frustrated. Never have anyone complain about you. Learn to be at least moderately proficiant in all planes/vehicles.

Then maybe someone will notice and decide your trainer material.

Lots of luck!

Umm, ArtLaws? No offense intended to him or anyone else, but if he doesn't like many questions I couldn't see him as a trainer. Maybe he was just annoyed at people constantly asking about host settings, I don't know. If that's his attitude towards questions I can't see him as a trainer. On the other hand, if he was just having a bad day and doesn't mind some Tin Horn pestering him about something he'd be pretty good at it.

As somebody who has learnt to fly glider in the real world I strongly disagree with you comments. While an instructor should remain relatively calm they should be quick in stern with thier corrections. I always prefered an instructor who would yell if something wrong was done so that A.) You knew it was incorrect & B.) Quickly fixed it.

Yes Tom,
I do agree with you if we where in a real world situation. But also you have to remember that people play this game for fun and also the members of the Training Staff do the same.

I don't want to have to shout at someone if they are doing something wrong. I just tell them "Listen dude, you don't wana be doing that"

There are times when a more stern aproach is needed with members who break the rules in the TA but you have to ask yourself how far CAPS LOCK can go?

I don't want to should at people and IMO as a trainer people who come to me for training don't want to be shouted at. They just want help and to learn from my experience.

Thanx for your post
