To Slash:

No apology needed, but graciously accepted (speaking for myself). Leaders, in all aspects of life, catch the most grief. It’s usually a no win until your gone and people say nice things about you. Don’t let the biatching get you down or rile you up. It’s normal, constant and inevitable.

To CT players and BBS posters:

I have suffered much disparagement of my character and person over the past few days, directly and by association…………………………..Makes me giggle.  I’m not a particularly tender guy.  Nevertheless, I don’t want to create unhappiness in anybody so I too apologize to anyone I have distressed. Can’t promise it won’t happen again.

Why dont you just turn over your squad to some one who gives a damn?

Problem is slash, no one gave a damn and that's how I ended up here... those that had senority didn't want it. We've increased our numbers to replace those that left and I'm here for the long run so deal with it.

Then by all means keep pretending their is no problems you could deal with as the "leader" of your squad.

Kong.

I have absolutely nothing against you VWE. And I agree with you that more senior members of JG54 would not step up and take command. As for only me and Slash being the only ones who have seen a problem, then you are choosing to ignore numerous threads over the last several months including those in your pole. It's not all your squad either. I've seen people passing through come into the arena and start things also. It's a small arena and when something gets going in there it escalates fast. We're all supposed to be adults and "we" should be able to keep things from getting out of hand. It's our arena and it's axis vs allies and there is a competitiveness to it. It doesn't have to be a us against them thing.

My only concern is saving the CT and getting the numbers back up. If we can get past the personal pissing matchs and do what is best for the arena, we can make this a fun place again.

Show me 1 thing I've posted that hasn't been seconded repeatedly by others. You can trace my "issues" with the CT back to mid 2003. It's not specific to JG54 or anyone posting in this thread. That being said I've experienced the verbage from some of the current CT crop 1st hand. This has also been commented on by many others.

Personally I think VWE's "poll" in the other forum isnt a bad idea at all. The real question however is what do the CT regulars intend to do...provide a better enviornment and the CT will grow again. Keep on keeping on and it will continue to stagnate. You guys want to whine about my thoughts and comments...go ahead. However, why not take it for what it is....simple observations from the other side of the looking glass. You guys chose to ignore it again and again and it drove the CT down about as far as it can go. Step up and make it the best arena (which it should be) and you can get 40+ in the CT every night...
