Who is interested in Trees.
« on: April 18, 2005, 06:55:12 AM »
Ok now that the new tree standard is out Im about to start my tree project again.

I wonder what map makers need trees and what type of trees.

Im using Aliencodes treemagic to generate the trees, then create LODs for them.

The following tree types are on my prio list, this will change with requests.

1. Palm trees.
2. Autum trees.
3. Winter trees.
4. Spring trees.
5. Summer trees.

What I would like to do is together with other people interested in making trees creat a big tree libary for the map makers to use.

Tex

Whether these are individual trees or complete forest tiles, I think most map makers will be interested in having a complete set.  Where do you intend to post them?

If they’re whole forest tiles I hope you’ll insure that they don’t sprout from roads, rail tracks or rivers and that GVs don’t get hung up in the branches when they cross the bridges. These are problems with all the forest tiles HT has released so far.

And thanks for the efforts Tex. S!

,,,,but under 200 foot, right? No Australian Outback trees, you know, the ones that Jump up to get yer prop.

Oh, and can you message the grounds crew and have them trim the ones at the end of the runway please?
