Task Group Anomaly
« on: April 15, 2005, 07:28:03 AM »
During a scenario practice session last evening (Thurs 14)

Several people observed this in the Coral Sea terrain.  C4 appeared to Jordi, ROC and myself to be in sector 6,12.  But to GypsyB C4 appeared in 9,14.

GB assumed command and was able to set waypoints, which I observed to be set in sector 9,14.  However, C4 remained in sector 6,12.  But here's the kicker.

The C4 that GB was standing on in 9,14 sunk and the C4 the ROC, Jordi and myself were standing on in 6,12 began to transit in a direct path (across the land mass) towards the spawn point where GB was establishing the waypoints.  The task group was cutting a path across the western tip of New Guniea.

As an ex Carrier sailor, you can imagine my jaw dropping as I was standing on the flight deck watching the new trees go by   But those mountains looked more ominous than ever. ;)

Dang SilverFox...you just gave away Team Alphas secret weapon for use in
Frames 3 and 4 of Coral Sea :)

I'm wondering if any of these anomallies had anything to do with the CTD's,
BSOD's and "AH has experienced a problem and must close"
messages I was getting in there?
