My fave so far has been the conversion from Mess Specialist to Culinary Specialist. No matter how you spell it it's still **** on a shingle.

Navy mess must be slipping. We never once had SOS when I was in the CG. Steak and lobster, yes. SOS, no.

Hell rpm, I was on an AFS (Combat Stores). We had first pick of the freshest food. We NEVER had steak or lobster. I take that back, we had "something" that looked like steak but to call it steak would be blasphemy to carnivores everywhere.

That's odd Diablo. We ate like kings in port and at sea, until we had been out over 60 days... Then the pickin's got slim. I still miss Friday mess, seafood buffet.
