~Russian Yak-9D (recovered in Siberia and restored)
~North American F-86-F Sabre
~Aviatik D.1, one of only two original aircraft remaining.
~Mikoyan Gurevich Mig-15
~Bf 109E-3
~Nieuport 28

Note: all part of the Champlin Museum, which became part of the M.O.F...30 a/c in the collection. Relocation from Arizona to Seattle comes to a close in 2003.

The "Bf 109E-3" is not.

It is a Spanish built Merlin-engined 109 that was re-engined with a DB motor and otherwise altered to look like an E-3.

Funked is right, I was there bout a year ago and it was a Spanish ver that looked like an E but had a merlin.

What about the FW 190d-9 or the NiK that was there? Are they moving them also.  That was a very good museum.  Why are they moving the planes anyway?

The collection was sold as the current owner of the Champlin Museum is getting on in years and retiring. Some of the collection is owned by local folks and will stay but by far the majority will go to Washington. Bummer for me. That museum now is only a 40 minute flight away on a neat airfield.
