I can't even believe that anyone would complain about haveing to be made to wear a seatbelt.
Laws like wearing a seatbelt, random breath testing etc are such non-events here I can't even imagine being without these laws.
I guess it just proves some people still need to be made to do things which are just common sense.

i hate seatbelt laws. they interfere with natural selection. if we keep having laws like this stupid people will live long enough to breed.

You'll take extraordinary measures to defend against the unlikely, yet not do the smallest of things to help against something that's very much a threat?

We got a medical system here that is paid by us, through taxes. I'd hate to have to pay more taxes just because some idiots aren't intelligent enough to wear seat belts.

Oh, and I always wear a seatbelt. Its the ejecting out of the car to compund fractures and/or death thing. And I always make who's driving wear one. I want them at the wheel after impact to continue driving. Not in my lap.

Here is another reason to wear a saftey belt:

If you are involved in an accident when you were not buckled in, and you are injured, most if not all insurance companies will hold you liable for some or all of your injuries because you failed to use a seatbelt. They will reduce your $ claim by a significant amount. Think about it.
