I love listening to stories by senior sitizens from back in the day when everything was in black and white. :)

Heh, I had a cassette player bungee'd onto the backrest. Along with my seabag and 2 suitcases. The bike weighed a ton and everything was soaking wet. But dam it was fun.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Try it again then! im sure you would enjoy Pink that way today too. You would go alot slower and you would need more breakes, but whats stopping you?

Get one of those bikes with a sidecar and you could bring the missus too :)

I'd love to, but I don't think the body is up to another one of that distance. The last long ride was when I was discharged in Seattle and rode to Denver where my bike got stolen. I came back via Yellowstone in the autumn. It was beautiful scenery to say the least, but getting my bike stolen was definitely a buzzkill.

Rode my bike from Ft. Worth to Seattle via California returning from leave. Rained almost the whole trip except for that stretch thru the Mojave.  The best part of the whole trip.

The Final Cut.

I mean really, the segue from "Heroes Return" to "Gunners Dream" alone makes this their best.
