P-47D-11 gunsight bug

Haven't tested other P-47s, but in the case of the D-11, the gunsight blocks the sun - ie) when you directly face the sun at dusk or dawn, it doesn't show through the gunsight.

The Bf109G-6 has this bug too.

The gunsight glass cancels out sun effects.

I find this bug again, with the Ki-84.

Guys, something is amiss, because, I've never seen this happening with the Ki-84 before.

I think it has something to do with the arena time. Come to think of it, all the instances where the gunsight glass canceled out the sun... was during dusk or dawn.

I think some of the planes might have this problem, and it will only show when dusk/dawn conditions appears - which would explain the reason why these bugs are so infrequently reported despite the obviousness.

I believe I've seen this issue with the Spit V (might have been the Seafire, but I believe it was the Spit V) and like Kweassa when it happened I believe it was when the "sun" was low on the horizon.

might have figured it out...

took a screenshot last night, from a p51 showing this effect. i can't post it right now because im at work, but it seemed to happen when the sun is below the "cloud layer" or at least it is related to that. in the screenshots i have the sun showing only partially, and it looks like the cloud layer is what is blocking part of the sun, like clipping off part of it.
