Here are two new films of mine.
Killstealer This is a fight that I had with a P-51B. The film description has more details.
Routine Sortie This next film is from last night. Nothing really spectacular about it other than it was a good sortie. One thing to note though is an example of a common *cough* tactic *cough* that is widely seen in the MA. Towards the end of the fight there are two Knights that were either roughly coalt or slightly higher than I was. I broke of my initial target to face the new threat only to have both Knights dive past me in an attempt to vulch a fellow Bishop that was taking off. I've never understood this stupid tactic in which a pilot is willing to surrender his advantages for one easy kill. What's the point? So you vulched a guy taking off but you were killed by the bogie in the air you ignored so you can vulch for the easy kill. Stupid tactic and one you find many, many *cough* experten *cough* do.
And for those that think the .50's are weak because HT nerfed them, pay attention to the last two kills. I had about 400 rounds of .50s and I got jumped by a Yak and another plane. When I was done with both, had 138 rounds remaining. Probably enough to take out another plane if one had come along.
As always, you can find more films at the 479th Fighter Group Film Library. With more films being added all the time, this is probably the best and largest location of P-38 specific films.
