1.  rifle barreling that can be burned out if you fire to long of a burst....


2.  Be able to take over flight in a film like AW's film viewer would let you.  (i.e.) take control over your (or opponent's A/C and continue the fight.  Plane you are not controlling would continue to follow the recorded film

Barrel burnout could be an issue in TOD.
Especially if your in the same plane for a series of sorties.

It shouldn't be very noticable at first, but should slowly lead to increased dispersion as it wears.

#2, well ok might be alright, but isn't a big priority IMO.
