P38 engine shutdown
« on: September 05, 2005, 09:41:19 AM »
Landed P38J on one engine (other shot up and dead).
Could not shut good engine down with E key after rollout.

.ef and all other key commands used seemed okay.

This has been around for a while.  I forget what it is, but one of the engine-select key commands will get controll back for the non-deadified engine.

Shift 1 or shift 2 to control a particular engine, Ctrl E to toggle control to all. I've run into this before, had to do toggle control to the one running engine, IIRC. Still kind of odd.

Not ctrl E for double engine control.. it is shift E.

You need to hit shift engine number to choose the engine that is still running if one is shot out.
