Framerates show levels of where they should be if V Sync is disabled - , Went and double check to see if my setting were vsync off, but at application preference....

seing FRs up in the 120s, ect...

Also, Limiting FPS to 60 using in game setting does nothing.

getting lots of tearing

So should it be on or off?

Thought if it was off you would get rubber bullets.

If you are experiencing tearing you should turn vsync on.

If you are hitting 120 FPS and your monitor cannot be set to a refresh rate of 120Hz or > you will get tearing.

All vsync does is limit the amount of frames rendered to the max refresh rate of your monitor. You should set your monitor to the highest refresh rate it can go to.

If your monitor can run at a Hz rating higher than the max fps you can produce then vsync will never be involked and can be shut off.
