Good Cod. Does someone have a strong stake made of oak, a bushel of potent garlic or a barrel of Holy water?

Oh will someone please let this die a dignified death and bury it, Eidos have already shown they have no real desire in supporting this endeavour as WWII has no 'character'?!?!?! (WTF? have they not read their history books!) the GFX are already starting to look dated and cartoonyband just won't cut it against the likes of AH,WW2OL and WBIII

I told Brian whats-his-face from EIDOS that CK would never see the light of day. He said something like "you'll eat those words in one year" or something like that with the appropriate diplomacy.

That was, like, 4 years ago.

Let go.

ok this touches on an embaracing memory for me, but I think it's worth sharing.

Back in Wb 1.02 or so they added the cowlings to the artwork, partialy obstructing the gunsight. Well I and a few others went BALLISTIC over this (funny to me now)  A few of us even went as far as suggesting a player strike (that's the embarassing part).  It was the first fracture I remember seeing in the community. I even remember Kat's and I had words   Btw kat's you were right hehe.

This was in early '96 about 6 months after the doh'mark/ici split.  I used to always post something to this effect.... "ok you guys are the only game now, but just you wait, next year CK will be out and you'll have some REAL competition!   LOL

I feel for Mike, he's a realy nice guy, and it's obvious that this sim means alot to him.  Who know's he's been at it now for 4+ years, maybe he'll actualy get it going this time....

Hey, I posted this on my "New Competition for HTC" post!

I think HT would be glad to see it, seeing as he was one of the original CK developers.
