Hawker Sea Hurricane AKA  Hurricat.

http://www.jaapteeuwen.com/ww2aircraft/html%20pages/HAWKER%20SEA%20HURRICANE.htm

HAWKER SEA HURRICANE - Hawker Sea Hurricane IA: Starting January 1941, total of 249 Hawker Hurricane Is modified (by Hawker, Gloster and, mostly, General Aircraft) to have catapult spools, allowing launch from adapted merchant ships operating as Fighter Catapult Ships (FCSs) or Catapult Aircraft Merchantmen (CAMs). The 'expendable' Hawker Sea Hurricane lAs (or 'Hurricats') were manned by No 804 Sqn, FAA, on the FCSs or by volunteer RAF pilots. First (of eight) successful operational launches August 2, 1941.
Hawker Sea Hurricane IB: Testing began March 1941 of a Hawker Sea Hurricane IA further modified with an A-frame arrester hook to allow operations from aircraft carrier decks. Designation Hawker Sea Hurricane IB applied to over 300 conversions (mostly by GAL) of ex-RAF Hawker Hurricane Is, some of which already modified to Hawker Sea Hurricane IA, or to Hawker Hurricane IIA with Merlin XX (later sometimes referred to as Hooked Hurricane II), all with eight-gun wing armament.
Hawker Sea Hurricane 1C: About 100 Mk IBs further modified to have four-cannon armament, but retaining Merlin III of Hawker Hurricane I. Operational from early 1942, including some with tropical filters.
Hawker Sea Hurricane IIB: Similar to Hawker Sea Hurricane IB, but based on Merlin XX-engined Hawker Hurricane IIB, with 12-gun wing.
Hawker Sea Hurricane IIC: Converted Hawker Hurricane IICs, with cannon armament and Merlin XX engines. Entered service in second half of 1942. Quantities uncertain, but some 600 Hawker Sea Hurricanes of all marks eventually taken on strength by FAA, including 60 delivered as new by Hawker and remainder as conversions.
Hawker Sea Hurricane XI, XIIA: Up to 50 CCF-built Hawker Hurricane Is with Merlin Ills, transferred from RAF to RCAF, progressively updated to have Canadian equipment and Packard-Merlin 28, then Packard-Merlin 29 engines, included some already in Hawker Sea Hurricane configuration, accounting for these designations.

Data for Hawker Sea Hurricane IIC: Max speed, 342 mph (550 km/h) at 22,000 ft (6,075 m). Cruising speed, 212 mph (314 km/h) at 20,000 ft (6,095 km/h). Time to 22,000 ft (6,705 m), 9.1 min. Range, with drop tanks, 908 mis (1,461 km). Empty weight, 5,800 Ib (2,631 kg). Gross weight, 7,800 Ib (3,358 kg). Span, 40 ft (12.19 m). Length, 32 ft 3 in (9.83 m). Wing area, 258 sqft (23.97 nt).
