"Bubba" Blackwell on life support
« on: July 05, 2001, 09:27:00 AM »
after catching the landing ramp in a jump last night. In a business where everybody uses dirt bikes with ideal suspensions, Bubba decided long ago to be different and be like his childhood hero Evel Knievel. He chose to jump harleys, yeah harleys. He broke Evel Knievels distance record on a harley a few years ago. If you've ever seen him interviewed on television, you probably share my sadness in hearing of this news.

What happened to him?  I saw him on a special on the Discovery Chanel about 2 months ago.  Did he not make the jump?  Do they think he'll pull through? What are the extents of his injuries?
