There is not a plane out there that cannot be killed. There is not a person that cannot be killed.

That being said STOP squeakING ABOUT THE 1c!!

Learn to kill it. YEESH!

Man! the 1c is too good the N1K is to good the P51 is to good the ostwind is to good..... where does it end?

Fly whatever you want and to hell with everyone else.

P.S. I think the M3 is harder to kill than the 1c.

P.P.S. Wegaman glad you found a ride you like.
I have been reborn a new man!

Notice I never said a better man.

The 1C is a great plane historically and requires a high degree of skill to pilot effectively.

At the beginning of the next tour, the 13th TAS will be flying the Chog exclusively and will no longer be known as a Pony Squad.

Have fun Weg and keep knockin them outta the sky

congratulations wegaman i never got 15 kills in the 6 months i'm playing now.

But hell i fly the P38, Hellcat and TBM.

Chogs are no problem for me just avoid the HO and win the fight and don't let it runaway.

Didn't found a chog driver who doesn't count on his HO move yet. They are mostly not man enough to try to kill ur 6.

for the rest it's a normal plane

From Tour12:
AKSWulfe has 34 kills and has been killed 9 times against the F4U-1C.

And here's the real kicker just for RAM...
AKSWulfe has 11 kills and has been killed 1 time in the fw190A-5 against the F4U-1C.

The -1C is uber I tell you.. UBBBEEEERRRRRRRRR!!!!!! It's too good for the arena only dweebs... oooo a penny!

Really, it's not much of a threat, only when there's an entire armada of 'em.. and then any plane is a threat like that. Even the lowly C202.

He was kidding, Mauser   er, maybe it was a bad edit? I think that should read...

Starting next camp we are going to start HUNTING the CHOG, exclusively, and will no longer be known as a Pony Squad, but as Hog Hunters!

Airspro-

I had to take a hiatus- I couldn't seem to find a decent connect to HTC. I had a bad spell or two before, but this one was a show-stopper. Funny thing was, my brother plays on the same ISP and he has no trouble at all! The only difference is he is dial-up and I am ISDN... anyway, I knew it was my end giving the trouble, so there was no need to squeak at HTC for something that wasn't their fault and they couldn't fix. I was hanging on because I believed cable was coming in December, but it turns out it will get here in August.   The pull is strong though, and perhaps I will try again and just dedicate myself to the navy.

I did try my old haunts at DoA, and while I enjoy that community very much (very cool group of guys BTW- you almost never see any derogatory remarks on the open buffer, and the fights are spirited) it is a sim that has been forgotten by their company. A real shame, I always felt it was a diamond in the rough.

Yes, there is inner peace to be had by relaxing enough to enjoy the moment. The trouble with adults and play is that adults sometimes try so hard to qualify the parameters for their "fun" that they lose track of the simple act of having fun. In the "realism vs. arcade" argument there is no clear winner, as both sides will have strong lobbies. That of course won't stop one side from deriding the other for not playing by their rules. It's a self-destructive path; here we have a new guy who is revelling in his newfound ability to be successful in this difficult to master simulation/game, and he is immediately pounced upon for using a crutch. That IMHO is just wrong. To make an extreme analogy, why not chastize a ten-month-old for using a walker to learn to walk?
