Used to have an actual radio that allowed me to receive O'Hare transmissions.

Toooo distracting.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

I don't believe so. IIRC, ATC is on UHF and/or VHF.

Air traffic radio frequencies are 118-136 MHz

Okay... VHF.


Maybe I was thinking UHF simply because it's what the military uses.
