CTD when upping certain planes.
« on: November 13, 2005, 03:35:54 PM »
When I try to up any of the new model 109's (K-4 etc), any P47, the new spitties, and the Ostwind, I crash straight to the desktop and get an error message. I uninstalled AH2 this morning, and reloaded it with a fresh full version, new skins, and still have the same problem with the same rides.

As far as I can tell, it doesn't matter what skin I use with the P47's, or the other models, and this started after the last 2.05 patch.

Any ideas on how I can fix this? I'm really frustrated, and am dying to try out the new rides, as well as use some of my other favorites that I can't up in right now. :cry

I am running an Athlon 1.7 with a GeForce Ti4600 AGP graphics card, 512 PC2700 memory, and an Asus motherboard. It doesn't matter what resolution I run, or if I use the 512 or 1024 res skins, same results.

PLEEEEEEEEAZZZZE HELP!!!!!

Glad to know I'm not the only person having this problem. Now the only question is, is there an easy fix, or is this something related to hardware?

i fixed it

It was a bit drastic but i uninstalled the whole game, deleted the HTC directory and rebooted. download new game and re install now its all working. Will have to spend some time setting it all up the way i like it but it will be worth it, as this has been going on since the re modeled the P38......

Make a backup of the settings folder before you delete game.

Copy paste it back into AH folder after fresh install....

Try deleting your cache folder and let me know if that fixes it.

I uninstalled the game, and then deleted the HTC folder after backing up my settings, screenshots, and videos. Reinstalled, and it's running like a champ!

What causes that kind of error in the game anyways?

THANKS FOR THE HELP GUYS!
