Aces High Chat Room seperate from the game

Hey guys, I'm new to AH & have been enjoying it thoroughly, great game you guys are doing a fantastic job!

I'm a little frustrated with the way arenas can be closed buy I can't check to see if that's on my end or yours. If there was some kind of a real-time chat box on the website it would be greatly appreciated. That way for those of us who can't get enough of the game; and can't play it for one reason or another; could chat it up with other players on the website about the game until it comes back online. Not only would this facilitate more Aces High interaction but would also be a great way to verify that I'm not the only one not playing & we could let eachother know when the game is back up instead of having to check it every 10 minutes. Interesting request, but you'll find that the amount of time the AH servers are off-line is so miniscule, it would rarely be used. Judging from the announcement about AT&T, you just happened to join at the 'wrong time'..lol

If you suspect there is a down server, check the 'General Discussion' forum here and you'll most likely see somebody posting about it.

I've been playing AH for 4 solid years and I can probably count the number of extended down times on 1 hand... ok, it may take part of the 2nd. .. and the ones when I locked up the Special Events Arena don't count..

A room an an IRC client can be created and everybody who wanted to chat AH stuff could go there to hang out.
