Vox quitting? Try this!

MCIwave.dll is the file that controls the amount of memory used to buffer audio data for both playback and record. I have noticed that in intense furballs, my vox drops out. I suspect that it was a buffer overloading. That buffer is controlled by MCI Waveform listed as MCIwave.dll
Most often MCI Waveform is set to 4 seconds or so. You can increase that amount if you like.

Goto control panel/choose sounds and audio devices/click on the hardware tab and highlight Media Control Devices. Click the properties button/then hit the properties tab at the top. Highlight MCIwave.dll and click properties button/then the settings button and move the slider to a higher setting.

I set mine to the maximum 9 seconds.

Vox drops have ceased for now!:aok :aok :aok
I thought I was important until I got Cancer and had to go to a cancer clinic.

Hmmm.

You know, this sounds kosher to me.

I'll try it too.

If not MCIwave.dll,  the file will likely have wave as part of its name and should allow the buffer to be increased in that list of .dll files
