Anyone heard of “Death Row Marv”???
« on: August 31, 2000, 08:45:00 AM »
Check out the link below and post your thoughts.

NOTE: I'm looking more for a thumbs up or down on this one.  Not loooooong rants for either side of the issue.  Consider it a poll.

EXAMPLE:

A. I think the toy is a real riot/funny

B. I think toys like this ought to be banned from civilization

C. No opinion on the matter

(You don’t have to use the above answers verbatim, but they represent the general idea of what I desire in this thread.)

A and B at the same time.

Talk about ambiguous feeling.

It's sick. It's degraded. It's a parody.

But it's also funny.

I will be flamed for this...but...

If a father buys this "toy" to his child and the child likes it...

Man, American society needs some urgent "moral surgery".

It is worse than sick. It is simply abominable.

I don't know which is the scariest, the 'toy' or the man brandishing it in Jehu's picture.

Action toy?  It has to be American if a guy sitting in a chair is considered an action toy.

As for the theme.. well just about any thing will sell anywhere.

I simply remember all of the shirts that said "diddly You" I saw on teenagers in Japan.

All over the world, people do things simply for a reaction.  Its just that some countries allow this to happen more than others.  Some call it freedom.. others call it lack of control.  I'm more of the former... though the cost is the latter.

D. Good for a laugh, but I wouldn't give it to a kid.

I think they'd be a great gift for the nice folks currently on death row tho'.  Ya know, kinda let them know what's coming
